I have loved makeup as long as I can remember. My grandma had this big drawer of makeup and I remember going through it whenever I was there and asking her what each thing was and how it was used.
I credit her for my love of makeup.
Recently a photo taking ninja goddess found me a few new things to add to my collection so I thought I would let you guys know how I feel about them. These items have become some my must have go to’s.
Anastasia Beverly Hills has recently come out with this Modern Renaissance palette and I have to say that I absolutely love it! Every color is just so buttery and smooth it makes application completely effortless.
Even the brush that comes with the palette is a dream. I can use it from start to finish with out needing to look for another brush. It packs color and blends color like a dream.
bareMinerals has these loose pigments and I honestly have always been a fan of the loose pigments because I love the control I have with them. But during the holidays they offered this little package of these travel size colors. Queen Phylis is the lightest color and has been one of my go to inner eye highlighters for like 5 years.
OMG this Jeffree Star color had me all in love this season! I cant even with this color! Isn’t it beautiful? Let me introduce masochist to you. Once you have worn one of Jeffree’s velour liquid lip shades you’ll know exactly why I just love this color. His line of lip shades are just to die for. You can find any of his products right on his site.

Need to practice your hand at liquid liner? NYX has a great product you can invest in to get in your practice. I really love this liner because the wand that it comes with is super fine and that is exactly what I need for creating that nice sharp flick on the wing of my cat eye. It also makes it really easy to get that thin line on the upper lid for those ladies who don’t necessarily feel comfortable with a thick line. The best part about it though is the price. It retails for 6.99USD which makes it less of a blow to the budget when you want to buy something to use as a practice tool.
Regardless however of using it as a practice tool I use this every day, and I just love it. It stays all day (as long as primer is used). It doesn’t smudge or rub off, and the color is as black as some of our souls.
This can be found at any ULTA or online.
I just love the power of makeup and I hope that I can spread the love by sharing my passion with you all. thanks for reading and I hope you all have had a Merry Christmas and are looking forward to the New Year! I certainly am. And if your looking for any new things to use to get your 2017 looks off on the right foot these would be it!
